Before delicate punters get the wrong idea, this appeal's made by hair tool makers GHD, who believe women deserve better blow-dries. Shocked by what she sees in style magazines, a pink-clad brand ambassador takes the bull by the horns.
There's a spunky, OTT vibe to the commercial, as well as an appreciation for 1980s/90s infomercials. Therefore, we get classic slogans like, "Feel the power!"; retro-chic production design; and a cameo by an Afghan hound—the dog of choice when you have a hairdryer nearby.
